When Mecwel Engineers opened in Guwahati in 1991, a diesel generator was still a specialist purchase. Thirty-five years later we are Assam's authorized Greaves Cotton dealer, and many of the machines we commissioned in the nineties are still running on service contracts with us.

Over three decades we've supplied and maintained DG sets for tea gardens, hospitals, hotels, schools, telecom sites, construction projects, factories and government offices across Guwahati and the wider state. What the next years look like
Emission norms have moved to CPCB IV+, engines have become markedly more fuel efficient, and remote monitoring is arriving in the range. Our part of the job hasn't changed: right-size the set, install it properly, and answer the phone when it matters.
